Northumberland - Days 3 & 4 - Bamburgh and Seahouses

Wednesday turned out to be a lovely day and we had a long walk with the dogs around Bamburgh stopping at the butcher, Carter & Sons - famous locally for its bangers - for some lunchtime snacks and an ice-cream.

Thursday morning promised to be showery and it was.  We walked anyway into Seahouses - the opposite direction from Bamburgh - and got soaked.  After topping up with milk and a few bits and bobs we headed back to Vincent for lunch.  The afternoon was gorgeous and we walked to Bamburgh beach and wandered barefoot through the surf in the late afternoon sun.  The beach was almost deserted.  A lovely way to end 3 days at Fowberry Farm.
