{"id":39,"date":"2018-07-31T11:36:08","date_gmt":"2018-07-31T10:36:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thenaylors.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=39"},"modified":"2018-07-31T12:33:10","modified_gmt":"2018-07-31T11:33:10","slug":"composer-on-omv-harder-than-i-thought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thenaylors.co.uk\/wordpress\/composer-on-omv-harder-than-i-thought\/","title":{"rendered":"Composer on OMV &#8211; harder than I thought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I now decided it would be nice to install firefly iii.<\/p>\n<p>This needs Composer.<\/p>\n<p>So installing Composer is proving harder than expected.<\/p>\n<p>The download keeps timing out go gave up and just downloaded latest version (1.6.5) from here<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/getcomposer.org\/download\/\">https:\/\/getcomposer.org\/download\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Created a \/usr\/local\/composer directory and downloaded the file into that.<\/p>\n<p>Then executed<\/p>\n<p>[text]<\/p>\n<p>mv \/usr\/local\/composer\/composer.phar \/usr\/local\/bin\/composer<\/p>\n<p>chmod +x \/usr\/local\/bin\/composer<\/p>\n<p>composer -v<\/p>\n<p>[\/text]<\/p>\n<p>All seems OK now<\/p>\n<p>The problem seems to be something to do with the way curl works with ipv6 vs ipv4.<\/p>\n<p>I also enabled ipv6 on the OMV box.<\/p>\n<p>So I did add<\/p>\n<p>ipv4 &gt;&gt; ~\/.curlrc<\/p>\n<p>but still made no difference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I now decided it would be nice to install firefly iii.
