{"id":86,"date":"2018-08-14T12:48:34","date_gmt":"2018-08-14T11:48:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thenaylors.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=86"},"modified":"2018-08-14T12:49:25","modified_gmt":"2018-08-14T11:49:25","slug":"more-firefly-iii-on-omv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thenaylors.co.uk\/wordpress\/more-firefly-iii-on-omv\/","title":{"rendered":"More Firefly III on OMV"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I decided to have another go installing the latest version using PHP 7.2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The instructions are pretty clear on the Firefly website <a href=\"https:\/\/firefly-iii.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/installation\/upgrading.html\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/firefly-iii.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/installation\/upgrading.html<\/a> but I still encountered some problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Installing PHP.7.2 works fine but I got an error running<br\/>[code]php artisan migrate &#8211;env=production[\/code]<br\/>it turned out I did not have php7.2-mysqld installed.\u00a0 Installing this fixed the error.<br\/><\/li><li>I then had to sort out running NGINX with PHP7.2.\u00a0 It turned out to be easier than I expected.\u00a0 I added a new pool file into \/etc\/php\/7.2\/pool.d instead of \/etc\/php\/7.0\/pool.d and changed the .conf file for firefly in \/etc\/NGINX\/xxx.d\/ file created when php-fpm was restarted (systemctl restart php7.2-fpm).<\/li><li>Permissions problems everywhere.\u00a0 While www-data should have read and write access it also needs create access in all the folders a the root install.\u00a0 In the end the only way I successfully got this working was to used the Shared Folders functionailty in OMV.\u00a0 I am not sure why the recursive chmod did not work but it seems the ability to have write access to new folders created by firefly did not work.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I decided to have another go installing the latest version using PHP 7.2.
